Laurie is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and has worked as an attorney for over 35 years. In addition to her years of experience as a practicing attorney, Laurie has worked for Westlaw, Lexis, Shepard's, and BNA/Bloomberg as a legal research coordinator and educator.
In those roles, she has served as a mentor to thousands of summer associates and newly-admitted attorneys while teaching them the principles of legal research. She has also been an adjunct professor inseveral pre-law and paralegal programs, teaching courses including family law, estate planning, and civil procedure. Laurie is committed to helping new attorneys build a practice through innovative client development, education, and service to the legal community.
